There's a book I'd highly recommend. It's called... uh... Dead-something.
Something-dead. Uhm.

The author examines death in each chapter. One chapter deals, I think, with
an old people's home. Another describes an abbatoir. Another describes a
halal butcher. The author then compares and contrasts. It's a thoughtful
book.

Bugger, I still have no idea what it was called. I'll see if I can dream up
the title for you.
