Okay, very OT, but could someone capsulize the
facts/myths/urban legends about Ellison?  I know very
little about him.  I didn't even know he was a Star Trek
author until recently.  

And I'm always up for some scuttlebutt on people in the
industry (especially when rival cliomancer game designers
get pissy that people don't buy "Pharoah:  The Ruling").
