Jehovah's Witnesses come to mind; at least they refuse blood transfer and such things, and I think they pooh-pooh medical treatment in general. But you could always invent your own fringe sect.

There was a story in the news recently about a couple in Great Britain who had siamese twin daughters. They refused to have them parted because it was clear one would have to die. They were also in some sect, but I forgot which.

The government stepped in and had the girls parted anyway. I don't know if one survived, she was still critical when I last heard of it.
