Judaism definitely doesn't fit into that description. Your REQUIRED to break
almost any commandment when it comes to life. This includes driving on
Shabbos (Sabbath), eating non-Kosher, etc. The only laws that come before
life are Murder, Idolatry and Adultery. Those you have to die before
committing but other than that, life comes first.
