[UA] Bad Reactions to UA?

Going back to the definitions of comedy vs tragedy, both in the game I'm
running now and the just-put-on-pause game I was in, there was a lot of
joking, both in and out of character. However, both games are also very
dark, fucked up games. The jokes all tend to be way after the trauma has
passed - usually a whole week until the next session, and the players have
had a chance to cope. The jokes are less an inability to stay focused on the
game, or the mood, but both OOC and IC, the only way to stay sane in the
face of insane events.
I find the joking to contribute to the mood - it almost always comes off as
the nervous giggles of four people who have been through the same trauma.
My .02,
Patrick

>(otherwise the game
>can became boring), but not for all the duration of the game.
