First, I must state that as GM I like play in a dark way, not always
involving magik
(otherwise players get used to it), and I try to play seriously. I found a
group of players
who like this mood, but actually they they keep laughting!! During the game,
they don't take seriously
their PG, and all the atmosphere go away! I can accept some witticisms
(otherwise the game
can became boring), but not for all the duration of the game.
Answering your questions, I think that inserting a total positive way of
playing UA will spoil the game;
I can't imagine an happy UA.
Simply you can only smoothing the dark feelings which permeate the UA
background, but you can't
eliminate them.

One think: we must admit that there are some game which aren't suitable for
some players.

P.S. I have also another group of players who love UA!

Hi,

Stefano.
