I had dreams where I've revisted locations from earlier dreams.  And
I've always wondered afterwards If I really dreamed I was in the same
place on two seperate nights, or if the second time I just dreamed up
the memory of having been there in a previous dream.  

To add to the confustion I'm often aware that I'm dreaming, and while I
don't have complete control over what happens I can jump out of the
current plot line anytime, as well as sometimes just specifying that
something happened the way I wanted it to and getting on with it. This
means I very rarely have disturbing dreams, and when I do It's usually
because of my actions and not because of what was happening to me.
