[UA] The Unknown Truth version 2

Here's a second idea. This is a rehash of a game that I wrote with a friend
of mine by the name of Jon. The game's called Enigma.

There are three primary forces in the world. Chaos, Order and Creation.
Chaos and Order are pretty obvious. They tear down, they build up. Left
alone, they form symnetry. Enter Creation. Creation is the force that
separates the other two. It creates a space between order and chaos that
allow for development. It strains the universal equilibrium, creates
tension, and allows for development of some kind. Mankind is the embodiment
of Creation. When creation goes too far, pushes the envelope too much, order
and chaos step in and set it all back to zero.

The old schools depended on order and chaos. They tapped into these two
primal energies and used them to fuel the special effects. Creation was
limited to society. They the new schools stepped up. They realized that you
could tap into this third energy, though they didn't realize that was what
they were doing. Creation is inherently more powerful than the other two, at
least initially. They used this impetus to overthrow the old schools, and
handed power over to the individual, the ultimate symbol of creation. This
allowed for the archetypes, individuals who transcended order and chaos and
claim power for themselves. The new schools of magick also used this power,
created magickal effects by unbalancing the cosmos and slipping in between
the gaps in reality.

Here's the problem. For every force of creation, there is a balancing force
of chaos and order. We move in threes. It's a pattern that follows down to
the chain, everywhere. Even the schools have checks and balances of order
and chaos, rules that must be followed in order for the power to work. As
always, when the creation gets too big, the other two step in to set things
right. This rule of threes goes up the ladder as well. Our whole reality has
become a sphere of creation, we have utterly booted out order and chaos.
What we, the innocent adapts and avatars, don't realize is that there are
forces outside of our sphere that represent chaos and order. We've stepped
out of balance, we've conquered our own sphere, made it in our creative
image. The forces of chaos and order are about to step in and set things
right.

It makes for an interesting arrangement. Forces unknown to us, completely
alien to us, are about to enter the scene. These Enigmas work for chaos and
order, and they're here to undo our reality and bring us back to the primal
zero. Do we fight them, stand up for the creative sphere that we've worked
so hard to attain. Doing so will only further unbalance the totality. The
magick will start to get out of hand. This will translate into a greater
freeing of power on our own sphere. The effects will be more spectacular,
the magick easier to use. But it will get worse. The more we push the
envelope, the more drastic and radical the crash.

Anyway, it works better when it's an independent system, but it ties in
fairly well with UA.
