Has anyone ever tried the "split character" campaign insertion described on
page 53?  Basically, you set up Simon Diulio as a twitchy rat bastard, and
end a "normal character" session with the PCs hearing that he's taken over
a plane.  They recognize that he's trying to Ascend, but there doesn't seem
to be anything they can do about it.  Then next session, you give them the
PC sheets from the book, and they play those characters for just one session.
