For what it's worth, I spent the evening creating a D&D 3rd edition 
character for a WotC friend's playtest campaign that's starting up next 
week. Haven't played since high school, but I'm looking forward to a fun 
time. I can't comment on the rules stuff per a non-disclosure agreement, 
except to say that thus far I've liked what I've seen.

I'm playing a half-elf ranger. Whoo hoo! Roll them dice!
