[UA] Movies with the right vibe

I'm usually a lurker on this lovely thread, but now I've actually got a
comment/question, so hang on.
After watching the movie "Rounders" a little while ago, it struck me as
having the right vibe for a UA game. I also decided that an old Matt Dillon
movie called "Big Time" (about craps players in the big city) to have the
same vibe. I'll try to describe the vibe as best I can.
All the characters are part of an obsessive and shadowy subculture. Both
movies are about gamblers who really _know_ a particular game, supreme
experts who can say that they've seen it all. It's jaded, cynical, and yet
familiar, because everyone knows everyone else. There are plenty of cryptic
references to tiny illegal games in different dirty corners of the city.
And below it all is deadly seriousness because these guys are playing for
real money. It's all smiles at the table, but watch your back when you
leave with everyone else's money. Does anyone see where I'm going with
this?
These kinds of movies seem like good references to cite to players when
they're approaching a UA game (well, approaching _mine_, anyway) for the
first time.
Does anyone else know any movies they can point to and say: "Yeah, I want
_that_ vibe in my UA game?"
Ciao,
Dave T.
