I see no reason to change the check at all. This is my opinion, but I
don't envision Violence checks as being particularly intellectual.
(Unlike, say, Self checks.) You freak out because it's damn nasty and
because seriously hurting another human being -- regardless of how pissed
off you are, or how righteously indignant -- is difficult and often
disgusting. (Not to mention a lot of social conditioning against it,
though that's debatable.)
