My apologies to anyone getting this message more than once, but those are
the vagaries of the electronic age.  You're getting this message at all
because you're my friend, e-correspondent, editor, editee, contact,
mailing-list member, mailing-list administrator (and feel free to change my
email address in the mailing list, if any, you administrate), family
member, or many of the above.

At any rate, the email address hit2 at midway.uchicago.edu will no longer
function as of 11:00 a.m. Central Time today; the new address, from which
I'm sending this, is hit2 at mindspring.com.  Please adjust your address
books, scribbled notes, whatever accordingly.  Feel free to let anyone you
think would be interested in on the change; I might have missed them in the
late night panicky stuffing of the address book.
