I'm pretty much in James' camp; unconvinced but still open. I don't know
as many entertaining people as he does (but then, no one does), but I have
been told I'm a wolfman, invoked a loa, and dated someone who claims to be
an extradimensional entity.  The only conclusion this has really led me to
is a suspicion that it's not a coincidence that reaching a shamanic state
usually involves heavy fasting, exhaustion, or drugs.
