Well, my AA would view this as a probable (crude) attempt to infiltrate one or
other of his organisations. The offer is extremely strange, and therefore
suspicious. However, if he is still attracted (in some way) to the mother (hell,
forgotten her name already), then it is still an opportunity. So, he helps them
out without asking anything in return and not accepting anything in return while
he checks everything out as best he can. Even if it's all genuine, there's no
way he lets the daughter anywhere near TNI. If she'll do anything for her
mother, then she's not loyal enough to be trusted for that. OTOH, if he can
change that (as other people have suggested in various manipulative ways) then
he might try if she's really going to be an asset. Lots of ifs, buts and maybes
I know, but I see him as an essentially cautious individual in this particular
aspect of his life - he's not going to risk blowing all his work on this without
very good cause.
