Hmmm. my mail to the list has been bouncing the last couple of tries, so here
goes again...

Two points here- Isn't he the guy who's stories SHORT CUTS was based on?
I haven't seen it in years, but it's neat. And two- the production is only at
ACT- it's actually by BOOK-IT, and thier style in performance is...odd. They
actually use prose fiction as their script, doing sort of dramatic performances
of the works in question- personally, I dig it(I've seen Gardner's Grendel and
Lady Chatterly's Lover by them), but it leaves a lot of people cold.

And this has been running for a long time now(two years?) and will probably be
extended yet again- which isn't to say that it isn't great(quite the contrary-
you should go see it a couple of times- he's got something like eight to ten
hours worth of material, of which he only performs two or so each time), but you
probably have a little more time than a week or two.
