I agree with the poster that stated that he'd prefer one $25 book
detailing modern magical methods, as opposed to the multiple $15
splatbooks for each. The novel would be a fun read, I like the writing
style of UA and Course of Winter. One Shots Two might be redundant, as
someone else has said. I'm not personally into location books, sorry.
Grand Secrets seems wonderful, although I might need to conceal the fact
from my players that all the adventures in GS are red herrings, and not
really that important. :)
Instead of a long repurcussion-filled campaign book, what about a book
that has a "what you do when you work for this group" feel? Like the
chapters would be "Joining the New Inquisition","Working for the Cult of
the NG","Protecting the world form bad mojo in the Sleepers", etc, that
gives how, why, etc one would join each of the major groups in UA and
what one would do as a new recruit (street level), a "middle manager"
(world level), and maybe a chapter on interacting between the groups for
cosmic level campaigns. I think that would be more useful than a big
campaign book, and for the groups that the PCs DON'T join, the GM has a
bunch of background as to what NPC motivations might be in those groups
when interacting with the party.
So what I'd buy is:
1. What I described last paragraph.
2. Grand Secrets
3. A $25 book on all the magic types and other magical background
material for making up more small occult groups, styles of casting,
rituals, etc.
4. One Shots Two (ok, it might be redundant, but I'll buy it anyway :)
5. Godwalker novel
6. Everything Else.
