epistomancy...from the old days when epistomages only had contact through
letters (hence their name)?  nowadays the choices are wider and more
efficient but they still can't talk face to face...

reminds me of the eccentric multi-squillionaire from "contact" who spent
his life in a flying airplane and spoke through videoconferencing and
telephones...

other ideas to chew on:  teatromancy (pronounces tay-at-ro-mancy) --
actors and role-players who submerge their true selves in roles in order
to glean information about human nature.

also, has anyone thought of magick dealing with memes?  the church of
virus webpage (virus.lucifer.org, i think) is ripe with ideas...

question for the designers as well as y'all:  can schools of magick be
split into subgroups?  f'rinstance, a division of dipsomancers who use
opiates instead of alcohol -- or would that be a new school entirely?  are
there any fringe groups out there?
