Speaking as one who has parachuted out of a _jet_ not once, not twice, but
THREE times (and, presumably, lived), let me tell you that the plane's
propulsion system doesn't equate to jumper survival.  What matters is how
fast the damn thing was flying when he bailed, not whether it had turbofan,
turboprop, reciprocating prop, or wind up the rubber band and let it go
engines.
