More Urbanomancy

>Urbanomancy

This is really intriguing stuff. At present, the spells feel sorta like
they're more for GMCs/plot hooks, since few have a lot of immediate use.
But on the other hand, the relative ease of gaining charges suggests a
low-power, subtle school. There's no reason why every school has to be
just as powerful as every other school, after all--people study a school
of magick because they're already obsessed with something, and the magick
just takes it to the next level.

Bravo! Keep working with this. I like Tim's suggestion that you can only
have charges in your chosen city; it fits in well with city nesters who
never want to go anywhere.

That crazy Manhattan bus-tour guide that's the subject of a recent
documentary--that guy's gotta be an urbanomancer.

I can see conflicts between urbanomancers and cliomancers. A story where
an urbanomancer has schemed to have a new building erected on a
cliomancer site would be interesting.

is born of need; determination is born of greed. Always assign
greater weight to passion, because mysteries are innocent.
