[UA] Collaborative Novel

Okay, here's the idea: We've all heard of collaborative novels (like Naked
Came The Manatee) where a group of writers get together and each write a
chapter of a novel, building on the chapters before theirs.

So Writer A would do Chapter 1, Writer B writes Chapter 2, based on what
happened in the first chapter, Writer C writes Chapter 3 based on the story
that started in Chapter 1 and continued in Chapter 2.

And thus, a full-fledged novel is born, while each person has contributed the
flavor and elements they love.

I propose we do the same thing, from among the mailing list's members. I
suggest we all write the first "Unknown Armies Novel".

Here's the way it could work: Everyone who wants to participate posts to the
list saying so, and I write the names and e-mail addresses down. I then roll
randomly on each name, and we go in order from the lowest number (00 being
the best you could do) to the highest.

Each Chapter gets posted to the List once it's finished, and the next person
begins to write his chapter.

What does everyone think? I'm pretty jazzed about the idea myself. One
writer doing a novel takes quite some time and is incredibly draining, not to
mention that you have to like that writer's style to get through the whole
novel as a reader.

This way, we could all contribute our styles and views of UA, along with our
favorite characters and GMCs, to create the first full novel for the game.

When finished, the book goes up on the Archive and we can all sit back in a
mellow glow. And, maybe, if they have the free time, John and Greg could
join in (one writing the first chapter and the other writing the last,
maybe?).

Anyone else think this is a good idea, or have I just been at the cough
medicine too much tonight?
