Here's a little something for some duke to pick up on the cheap:  a rock
thrown at police during the Seattle WTO protests, "thrown in anger",
currently selling for $2.25 on EBay

So, without further ado....

Riot Rock (Minor Artifact [or Significant; haven't thought about game
balance issues thoroughly here -- comments?])

This artifact was created from a rock thrown in anger at police during the
1999 WTO protests in Seattle.  It inflames the slightest amount of
ill-will into full-fledged rage.

In game terms, the bearer of this rock may attempt to rationalize use of
his Rage passion where it would not normally apply, once per day; this
requires a successful Soul check.  A negative shift may apply if the
rationalization is ludicrous ("That bastard who jaywalked must be a
freakin' child molester -- I'm gonna kick his ass!"), while a positive
shift of 10% is applied if the target is an authority figure; these shifts
may cancel each other out.

A side-effect, unknown to the creator, is that security figures tend to
distrust the bearer.  Cops tend to pull him over for little cause; bank
guards suspect that he might rob the place; etc.
