but how so? I always assumed that the paradox showed itself in both the
effects and in the taboo especially. There is little in Cliomancy about
submitting yourself. Although maybe time is the key. What if it is
something like gaining power over all time and history (as in the
preception of it) but that control only lasts for a little while (which is
why the charges dissipate)
