I was thinking something along these lines as possible.   Let's wait about 
another 24 hours to make sure everyone who wants in gets in.  Then we'll 
start deciding whether we'll agree on a theme to the book (example:  A 
powerful occult underground figure is found murdered) or whether we'll just 
let the plot form itself as the chapters get written. 

This will put a lot of pressure on the person who writes Chapter 1, so maybe 
we should agree on some basic theme beforehand.

I like the idea of a murder in the OU kicking off the novel, but that may be 
too "myster novel"-ish.
