Yah. Tynes and Stolze have called it karma, but on the universal scale.

Yup, and that's not going to deal with it /all/ that much, because in
order to Ascend as that Archetype, they have to be awfully similar to it.

You'd think so, but we don't seem to see it much. Having an IC member
pissed with you has /serious/ repercussions, and I wouldn't think that
many Godwalkers would live for more than a few days, if they really were
that kind of target.

My suggestions:

1. Maybe the IC member has a sort of "blind spot" where its Avatars are
concerned. It can't see what they're doing, or act against them directly,
because they're too much like it.

2. Or maybe the process of Ascension changes you so much that you don't
feel protective of your position.

3. Or maybe the process of Ascension so-integrates you with your
Archetype that you can't conceive of how anyone could possibly represent
it better than you, and so you never perceive an Avatar as a threat until
it's too late.

4. Or maybe the process of Ascension subordinates your will to the
"desire" of the Archetype to be more "perfectly" represented. So you
might welcome anyone who can kick you out, because it will
better-integrate the Archetype to the human race if a stronger candidate
can be found.

code I am thinking of using. If he breaks the code in under 30
seconds, it will not be used. Note: this also applies to passwords.
