My two movie disasters are:-

a) Being taken to 'Happiness' by a prospective girlfriend.  (Our first
words afterwards - "I feel violated.")

and

b) Taking my grandmother and 12 year old cousin to "Chasing Amy."  (Hey, it
said 'romantic comedy' & I hadn't seen any other Kevin Smith films then ...)
