I have a cabal (well, more like a gang) of four teens who want to get
rich and have drugs, sex and danger (they are banks robbers). Two
members are Adepts (a warbuck and a bodybag) other is the bodybag's
apprentice, and the last one is simply insane.

There was a group in Conspiracy X called the Montague Club whose members
were all CEOs and wealthy people. They did magick only for bussiness
matters, and considered bad manner doing it for other things. This
probably doesn't work well for plutomancers, but maybe some subterfuge
can be used to avoid taboo.

As for goals, they could be religious (worshipping gods, searching
enlightement...), anarchists (subverting the established order),
defenders of the society (hunting mundane or magickal criminals). Some
of them could be social clubs, like the Masons. Really weird cabals
could have goals that make no sense for normal people (like making
people wear black, or setting fire to public transports)

Note that the majority of cabals are clueless, and the UA defininition
of "cabal" is very broad: A cabal could be a group of hackers, looking
to prove how the government suppresses info about the occult. It could
be a paramilitary group, like the TOSG, or high class satanists looking
for refined pleasures.

My players know about the Invisible Clergy, but they think they are gods
of some sort. As for alternative ideas, check occult stuff, other
RPGs... there is a lot of crap in the Internet, also.

In my game, I cut some fragments of a conspiracy-UFO-Illuminati alien
webpage, and paste them as messages from a conspiracy mailing list. I
mixed The Fisher King, the Kennedy assassination, the Illuminati,
Agharta, Draconians, Greys... 

There is some stuff about Saint-Germain and "The Purple Flame" or
something like that in Internet (I did a search on the Comte once;
strangely enough, I found an entry about a festival that didn't seem to
be related to my search) Don't remember the sites, but it's something
like "Saint-Germain is one of the Ascended Masters, like Jesus and
Buddha, and will take us to the Light".
