<p>There used to be a coupling between COMIS and TRNSYS but I do not
think it is still viable. You might look at coupling CONTAM with
TRNSYS. CONTAM is quite similar in nature to COMIS, is free, and
can be coupled to Trnsys either via Type97 (a standard library
component) or by Type98, which is a freely available add-on
component available from NIST (the researchers who also develop
CONTAM).</p>
