<p> TRNSYS has boolean functions that you can use. The function
LT(x,y) will return a 1 if x < y and a 0 otherwise. Typically
you can use those functions to construct more complex functions.
For instance you could do:</p>
<p>result = A*LT(v,8) + B*GE(v,8)</p>
