<p> Adding an input or parameter to a component involves modifying
the source code and recompiling the component. If you are using
Trnsys18 you can use the TypeStudio to do so. However, if you are
going to add new input data you will also need to add equations to
the component so that it does something with that new data. So the
answer to your question depends on what component you are using. <br>
