<p>A few things to check:</p>
<p>1) Can you run with the sample script from the Type169 description in the MathematicalReference volume of the TRNSYS documentation set?</p>
<p>2) Are you trying to load external libraries in your script? (This does not work with the TRNSYS-Python link.)</p>
<p>3) Is the file containing your Python script named in all lower case letters?</p>
<p>Regards,</p>
<p>Tim</p>

<div>Dear TRNSYS users,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I am trying to use Type 169 to connect my TRNSYS simulation with a Python script.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I am getting the following error: The python script file failed to load.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I don't know what to do because the error message tells me no reasons why this could be happening. I have TRNSYS version 18.00.0015 and Python 3.6.8, both of them in 64 bits.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The file Type169.dll is linked to Python36.dll.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks for your help.</div>
