Muhammad,

Are you looking for an absorption heat pump model? My
understanding of absorption chillers and heat pumps (separately)
is that they use fundamentally different processes for providing
cooling. Heat pumps rely on fairly standard vapor compression
cycle that (normally) use electricity to run the compressor. In an
absorption chiller you have two coolants, one of which provides
evaporative cooling and in so doing is absorbed into the second. A
heat input is then needed to reseparate the coolants.

There are such things as absorption heat pumps and if you are
looking for one of those then I am not aware of a TRNSYS model.
Based on what little I have read, I do not think that Type677 (or
any of the other TRNSYS absorption chiller models) could be used
to provide both heating and cooling. If you are aware of a
specific device for which manufacturer's performance data is
available then it would not be hard to create a TRNSYS Type that
reads the data. In fact that is the approach that Type677 takes.

kind regards,

Or any other component in TRNSYS which can model absorption
