<p class="MsoNormal">I have noticed a potential issue with the use of the auxiliary system of the Heat Pump Type 941 (from TESS library).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In the source code (Type941.for), there is no value setting for QAUX when all signals à “OFF”.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This means that an auxiliary consumption can be computed whereas its operation mode is “OFF”.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">For instance : in one time step you have “Heating mode “ and “Aux mode” both “ON”; if in the next timestep all signals are “OFF”, Type 941 will still set QAUX > 0 as an output.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This can be easily fixed by either adding an additional condition on the calculation of QAUX directly in the TRNSYS model or by re-compiling type 941 with an additional “QAUX=0.” In the “NO-FLOW CONDITIONS”.<o:p></o:p></p>
