    <p>  The biggest difference between Type460 and Type1267 is that
      Type460 models tubes that contain air while Type1267 assumes that
      the heat exchanger pipes are filled with liquid. Type1267 breaks
      the ground up into nodes and then uses a finite difference method
      to calculate the temperature of each node. It is very flexible in
      terms of the geometries that you can set up and it will give you
      an enormous amount of information about what the temperature
      profile in the ground surrounding your building looks like. Its
      downside is that it is not a fast model. It will slow your
      simulation down significantly.</p>

            a building. I am considering using the type 1267 for the
            simulation of the exchanger. But there is hardly any
            information about it online. Also, the institute where I
            work already bought type 460 for previous works. I am
            therefore trying to get more information before going
            forward with a purchase.
