That mode signifies that the location of the inlet port changes with time such that the stratification is preserved. I have used that mode once in my 30 years of using TRNSYS - and I do a lot of tank modeling. That was a tank that had a strange umbilical float that tried to have the water enter the tank in the ideal location.<div><br></div><div>But either way, you are not forced to use the plug in. Simply take one of the existing full proformas and modify it to match your tank parameters. <p class="MsoNormal">I am using type 534 tank for stratification. As the inlet flow temperature to the tank is not defined and varies over time, I have to use „INLET FLOW MODE = 3”. However, changing this parameter is not possible in without plug-in type (as
it is locked). At the same time, I am running an optimization using GenOpt and one of the optimization parameters is the volume of the tank. The problem is that in type 534 with plug-in, I can not choose the volume as parameter which changes by each GenOpt
run and just fixed numbers can be used in plug-in. <span style="color:black">How can I resolve this problem?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
