    <p>  The value that Type5 is looking for is sometimes referred to as
      the heat exchanger UA. You can look in a heat transfer text book
      or online for the methods used to compute it. Keep in mind that UA
      has units of kJ/h.K. The actual amount of heat transferred by the
      exchanger varies with inlet temperature but the heat transfer <i>coefficient
      </i>does not.<br>
