<p>It is a little hard to answer without knowing the larger story of
what you are trying to model. Type668 models a single speed
compressor heat pump and the model computes power consumption as
an output. If your system is one in which a power source charges a
battery that is then used to run a heat pump then you could
accomplish such a thing using Type668, controllers, and equations.
If, on the other hand, your heat pump can run on a variable amount
of power (for instance it may have a variable speed compressor in
it so that it runs as much as it can given the input power
availability) then you'd need to write a new heat pump model.</p>
