<div><span></span>Dear Someone, </div><div><br></div><div>I use the STEC library to develop a model for Ranine cycle power plant. When I use the "Stage" module, I'm confused about the paramaters "Bypass indicator". I found that when I set this paramater to 0, the power output of this stage would be 0. What this paramater is used for? I checked the document for STEC library, but I can followed the explaination of this parameters.</div><div><br></div><div>"A bypass indicator output is set to 1 if either the input bypass indicator is equal to one or if the flow rate is below a<b> reference fraction</b> given in the parameters. If the bypass flag is set, the steam passes the turbine without doing any work remaining in the same condition. The pressure is assuemd to be the same as under minimal flow conditions when the bypass is turned off. "</div>
<div>In this sentence, what is the "reference fraction"?</div><div><br></div><div>I have another question, is this STEC library can be used to simulate supercritical Rankine cycle?</div><div><br></div><div>Best Regards,</div><div>Jiyun Qin</div><hr style="width: 210px; height: 1px;" color="#b5c4df" size="1" align="left">
