<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">Batch programming is a programming paradigm that allows automated execution of certain commands at the level of an operating system. A batch file is a “batch” of such commands. If it is called with the command line, the
system executes each individual task listed there one after the other. That's why the term batch processing is common.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">Here is an super simple example of a batch file which calls a Trnsys template:</span></p>

<li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0cm"><span lang="EN">open an editor and type in the following line: c:\TRNSYS18\TrnEXE64.exe c:\TRNSYS18\Examples\3D_Building\6_Step_Add_Daylight\Building.dck</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0cm"><span lang="EN">save as *.bat</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0cm"><span lang="EN">double click on the *.bat file an the simulation should start</span></li></ul>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">When you want to run several simulations in series or parallel you can add it into this batch file. Please have a look in further literature.</span></p>
