<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">From my experience, the “Replace” option sometimes leads to some problems. Check carefully all the parameters of the type. Be sure that their value are correct. Check particularly the
first parameter, the File Type. If it is still the one for reading TM2 files, it means that the Replace option is not working for weather data file I think. In this case, you will have to create a new Type 15-3, and link it again with your building. I know
that if you have many surfaces it may be long, but at least like this, your are sure that it will work.

I have created a Multizone Building Project from a idf file. I wanted to change the weather file to read a .epw file. So I right click on the Weather data (by default it's Type 15-6 that reads TM2 file) and Replace with it Type 15-3.<br>
