<p> I am not familiar with a Type555 either. However, Transsolar
offers a non-standard component (Type460) that does a good job of
modeling earth/air heat exchangers.</p>

<p>A few weeks ago, I read a paper about Earth Air Heat
Exchanger whose authors wrote about type 555 and used it to
get the ground temperature (it contained some information to
use as input in the model) but I can't find any information
about it. </p>
