Adnan Rasheed,

There are two methods that you can follow. One is to modify
your Excel data so that it complies with the Type99 "user defined"
format. The other is to use Type9 to read the Excel format that
you already have and then to set up a Type16 (radiation processor)
to process the raw solar radiation from your data file. Please
refer to the Type99 and Type9 sections of the
04-MathematicalReference manual for information on how to set up
the Types. There are also examples that use both Type99 and Type9
in the ..\Trnsys17\Examples\ directory. One hint: if you're using
Type9 you'll want to save a copy of your Excel spreadsheet in
either a comma separated value (*.csv) or a tab delimited text
format.

kind regards,

Dear all,
As a special case I am trying to simulate a building
with periodic boundary conditions with a period of one
day. I generated the periodic artificial weather data
file and i am using the user format (Type99). However,
I need to set a constant date so that the beam
radiation values would not change from day to day. How
could i do that?
