If you are using the latest version of TRNSYS (17.02.0004) then
there is an example in the ..\Trnsys16\Examples\PVT\ directory that
shows one way of using Types47 and 48 in combination with a PV. <br>

type " and connect the battery to charge controller which

having difficulties to identify the appropriate input/output
connections between the TYPEs, I decided to keep the model
more simplified and used the following :</div>

control and correlation between charge -discharge of battery

would store the PV generated electricity into the battery
bank ( in the presence of sunshine) and discharge the battery
when there is load demand.</div>

discharge to serve the load when I try to monitor the
Fractional state of the charge of the battery.</div>
<div style="font-size:12.8px">As you can see, I have tried to
simplify the choice of the load, So the load is only present
at night time when there is no sunshine.</div>
<div style="font-size:12.8px">Therefore the controller does not
need to make any adjustment to see whether : to charge the
battery from sunshine or discharge the battery and serve the
load.</div>
<div style="font-size:12.8px">Although this would be the
ultimate aim of my model,</div>
