Suhrid,
Usually what has happened in a situation like this is that you ran
the simulation once in a new place and it didn't find a file that it
was looking for. Unfortunately when TRNSYS doesn't find a file that
it thinks should exist, it creates a blank one. Then the next time
you run your sim, you get an "end of file" error.

Check the location of the file and look at the file size; its
probably 0KB. You can delete it and find the file in the original
location and move it over.

The best way to avoid problems like this is to always code the
full path to the file in the external files tab (starting with the
drive letter as in c:\Trnsys17\MyProjects\... etc.)
kind regards,
Type15 rewinds the data file as soon as
it gets to the end so it shouldn't
get an "end of file" error unless the file
is blank. I'm guessing it might be best to
send your project to your distributor's
hotline though since it sounds as though
you are getting an end of file error when
you shouldn't be.
Check to make sure that the
10th parameter of Type51 sets
the correct number of data
points that are in your external
file. The default value of the
10th parameter is 24. If your
data file has less than 24
points in it then you'll need to
modify the value of that
parameter accordingly.
