Anas,<br>
You have specified a thermostat set point of 45C and a thermostat
deadband of 5C which means that the heater in your tank will not
turn on until the temperature of the node containing the thermostat
(node 1 in your case) reaches 40C (45-5) and once on, will stay on
until the set point is reached. In your case the tank does not reach
40C by the end of the first 24 hour period (the end of your
simulation). Click on the "more" button next to parameters, inputs,
and outputs to learn how their values affect the simulation.<br>

I started learning TRNsys last week for my internship.<br>
I am trying to use the Type4e (Hot water storage tank) to
produce DHW, following a daytime strategy (a load profile, using
Type14b) to heat water from 29°C to 45°C. The file is attached
to this mail.<br>

It seems that the simulation is not working : Q=0 kJ/hr. Can you
help me with it ? Am I plotting the wrong output ? Do I need to
add an electricity heater before the tank to heat water OR is it
included in the type ?<br>
