It is not likely the problem in your case but I found that I
cannot have any "." characters in the pathname (apart from the one
one that separates the file name from the file extension) or else
the view factor matrix generator doesn't work. Strangely the shading
mask generator works fine even if there are more "." characters in
the path.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal">once I try to generate view factor and
shadings matrix I get this error: TrnBuild MFC application has
stopped working.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The error does not occur when I use my
colleagues’ laptop. I recently installed some Microsoft
windows updates (I have Microsoft windows 7 on my laptop). I
am thinking the error is due to some of this updates. Could it
be possible?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Which is the update I have to uninstall in
that case?<o:p></o:p></p>
