The Type56 QSENS output shows you the loads on each airnode of the
building. Negative values of QSENS indicate heating loads while
positive values indicate a cooling load. It is often less trouble to
use the QHEAT (NTYPE30) and QCOOL (NTYPE31) outputs instead. These
are simply the heating loads and cooling loads respectively.<br>

Yes, you care correct on both counts. You can also
ask Type56 to give you QCOOL as an output if you
want to know cooling loads. Keep in mind that the
loads are sensible only and that no latent loads are
calculated unless you have activated either
humidification or dehumidication in a zone.<br>
