You would need to write your own component in order to model that
sort of a wall. You could then use the BOUNDARY wall concept in
Type56 to make an interface layer between the rest of the building
and your wall model. In order to write a new model for TRNSYS, you
need to have a compiler capable of making a 32-bit DLL. The rest of
TRNSYS is developed using the Intel Visual Fortran compiler and it
is highly recommended that you use this compiler if at all possible.<br>

inputting conductivity of a wall layer as a variable? I
would like to include in my model the effect of change of
conductivity of a wall with its temperature k(T), but in
module Type56 (Multi-Zone Building) it seems to be
impossible, conductivity in Layer Type Manager can be
specified only as a fixed number. Is there any way of
getting around this problem?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
