That error usually indicates that too large a value is trying to
be written into a formatted output file. For example, if a Type (56
in this case) tries to write the number 100 to an output file using
a format statement that only allows two digit numbers. Unfortunately
there is nothing that a user can do to solve the problem. If you
send your project and all the files needed to run it to your
distributor they can correct the error.
Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Where can I find some example to

Hello,

I'm doing some research on the coupling of
Trnsys(TYPE56 Multizone) and CFD program recently. The
most referenced work is the doctoral thesis of Z. Zhai, “Developing an
integrated building design tool by coupling building

Technology, 2003. http://dspace.mit.edu/handle/1721.1/17617

And I see there is also a Type101 in TRNSYS for
calling Fulent, so I tried to find more information
about it, the only thing I found is a paper from Diego
A. Arias http://www.ibpsa.us/pub/simbuild2006/papers/SB06_231_237.pdf.
In the paper Multizone is unfortunately not involved.
I hope I can get more information from you here.

According to the work of Zhai, the convective
heat transfer from wall surface to air is the key of
the coupling process. My Question is, How can I
implement the convective heat flux to TRNSYS?

Eric,
The tutorial that I mentioned last week is exactly what
you are asking for. It shows how to connect controller
Types and equipment Types to a Type56 building simulation.
The tutorial (called "temperature level control from
energy rate control") can be downloaded from:
Thanks for your answer, it helped me a lot. But what I
really wanted to
know is:
How is the Type 987 and Type 600 tied together with a
building project
with a controller?
please please how me an example.
I would recommend that you go through the tutorial
called "temperature
level control from energy rate control" that is
available for download
from
<a moz-do-not-send="true"
It describes the process of migrating from using
Type56 to compute
heating and cooling loads to using controllers and
equipment models to
condition the space.
