If you want a heating controller (ie a controller that turns
equipment on when the room temperature falls below 26.5C and allows
it to stay on until room temperature reaches 27.5C) then set the
first input to the middle of your set point temperature range (27C).
The second input will be the temperature that you are monitoring
(the room temperature). The fifth input (upper dead band) would be
set to 0.5C and the sixth input (lower dead band) would be set to
-0.5C.

Hi TRNSYS users,
I need some help about differential controller(Type2b). I would
like to control temperature in the room within 26.5-27.5oC. How
can I define the upper/lower deadbands (Upper input temperature
Th, Lower input temperatureTl, Monitoring temperature Tin, Upper
dead band dT, Lower dead band dT)to monitor the room temperature
to gain simple ON/OFF control.

Thank you in advance.
